Army Ranger Hall of Famer Jeff Struecker: ‘My faith gave me this sense of peace’
Jeff Struecker was an elite Army soldier, once part of a two-man team that won the Best Ranger competition. Next Wednesday, the former soldier who was involved in the Battle of Mogadishu and immortalized in the book and movie “Black Hawk Down” before serving as a chaplain for 10 years, will be among the class inducted Wednesday into the Ranger Hall of Fame at Fort Benning.
