Lafayette native Spc. Connor McGuffee, Louisiana National Guard’s 2nd Battalion, 156th Infantry Regiment, 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, dove head first into his military career by completing both the U.S. Army’s Airborne and Ranger School right after finishing basic training.
