U.S. Army Ranger presents deployment flag to Putnam American Legion post
PUTNAM – Woodstock native and active duty U.S. Army Ranger Staff Sgt. Jesse Hagstrom on Friday presented a flag that flew during one of his two combat duty deployments in Afghanistan to members of the Mayotte-Viens American Legion Post 13 of Putnam. “When I was in Afghanistan we raised a new American flag every morning,” Hagstrom said.
